The Pongola Game Reserve where our lodges are located is an amazingly calm and beautiful place that takes a more eco-friendly and less consumerist approach to the safari experience.

We have persuaded various South African landowners to work together to reintroduce the elephants and black rhino. We have great connections with local community projects and can help organize trips such as flying doctor flight (which helps pay for a doctor’s visit to a local village) or a visit to an orphanage.

 White Elephant Bush Camp, set amongst a cluster of whispering knob thorn trees, offers a tranquil escape in seven generously spacious thatched chalets, are generously spacious with en-suite bathrooms, mosquito net, ceiling fan, private verandahs and spectacular views.  Africa's hues, uncomplicated dining and traditional bush comforts add to the serenity and harmony with nature. - Children of all ages welcome.
