How do I sign up?

Where do I sign up?
We have developed the ‘Get listed’ sign up process so that it is easy to create your listing. However, we recognise the time constraints that you may have, if you would like to simply forward us your details we can create the listing for you!
The first thing to do is create an account, so click on 'Get Listed' on the red menu-bar at the top of the page. You can read more about the benefits that signing up will give you, and you can click on the big red 'Sign Up' button to sign up.
STEP 1:
- Type in your email address (this is your user-name).
- Create a password.
- Fill in your contact details.
- Click on ‘sign up’.
STEP 2:
- This is the ‘Congratulations’ page. Follow the arrow that states ‘Click here to get started’. You must click on ‘My Establishments’ link on the menu bar.
STEP 3:
- Click on the Red ‘+ add establishment’ button.
STEP 4:
- Type in the name of your establishment.
- Select a province.
- Select a city.
- Confirm that this is your establishment by selecting the tick box.
- Click on ‘save changes’.
STEP 5:
- It will then list the name of your establishment. On the right hand side of the name of your establishment, click on the ‘edit’ button. This is located under ‘options’.
STEP 6:
- A list of options will be displayed. You have already partially completed the steps of ‘create an establishment’ and ‘establishment contact information’.
- Although it is recommended to check details by clicking on the green ticked boxes, you can proceed by clicking on the red exclamation blocks.
STEP 7:
- Establishment information:
- Type of establishment
- Star rating
- Price range
- Web address (we would appreciate it if you could place a link to SouthAfricaRent on your website)
- Physical address
- Short descriptions (limited to 170 characters)
- Full description (as long as you would like)
- Directions (Tip: use a starting point I.e. from airport)
- Rates and rooms
- You can add as many rates as you would like. Simply type in the details in the box and click on ‘apply changes’. Once you have added all your rooms rates click on ‘save and finish’
- Facilities and activities
- Click the button: ‘yes I would like to edit my facilities and/or local activities’
- Click on the options to select- they will turn green when selected
- Once you have selected your facilities and/or activities click on ‘save changes’
- Accreditations
- If you have any accreditations click the button: ‘yes I have accreditations I would like to display’
- Click on the logos to select- they will turn green when selected
- Upload images
- Click on the green ‘add’ button to upload an image
- Click on ‘browse’ to insert your photo
- Click on the ‘upload’ button and your photo will be uploaded
- We recommend that photos be 200x300 pixels
- Uploading a map and/or logo is done in the same way
- We recommend a file size limit of 30kb
After these steps have been done you can preview your listing by clicking on ‘preview my listing’- which is located above the ticked boxes.
You can now log out or go back to the SouthAfricaRent site.
