How do I search for accommodation?

Option 1: The Quick Search

If you know where you want to go, or what kind of accommodation establishment you're after, this is the way to quickly find places to stay!

On the left hand side of the SouthAfricaRent page is the Quick Search function.

• Step 1: Choose a type of establishment
• Step 2: Click on the regions
• Step 3: Press Search and its done!

All possibilities matching your requirements regarding accommodation will be listed for you to choose from!

The Quick Search and Name Search features are located close together, top-left of the page.

Option 2: The Name Search

Heard about a particularly special place from a friend? Or know just a part of the name? Then the Name Search is the best way to find the place you're looking for!

Located below the Quick Search box, you'll be able to enter all or part of an establishment's name. Press 'Search' and anything that matches your entry will be listed!

Option 3: The Map Search

The Interactive Map of South Africa on the home page.

Know which province and town you want to go to? Then a good way to find accommodation, and learn more about the location, is with the Map Search. Simply click on a province from the interactive menu on the home page (see figure above) - or click on 'Map Of South Africa' on the red menu-bar at the top of the page - to start your search!

Click on a province, and then a town (red dots - see below figure) to find accommodation in that location!
